As they research the ghost town they find a number of commonalities they have with the original residents of the town. Their names are similar to the name of the town people who once lived there long ago. They begin to be interested in reincarnation. She goes off on a lot of tangents in her search that requires a firm hand from Jeremy a number of times to keep her from going off the deep end with psychics and past life hypnotists etc. They still have this life to live, as Jeremy keeps reminding her.

Jane had a teaching degree but if she worked in that field her brother would be able to find her. He was trying to get her to marry his best friend but she didn't love him, so she left town. Raised on a ranch , she went to work for Caleb, the owner of Bear Creek Ranch. She kept a low profile and took the dirtiest jobs like mucking out stalls, etc. Caleb put her to work as his assistant manager, but she bucked heads with the long time cook and housekeeper. She got real bossy even with him. so she began to spend a lot of time over his knee so she would remember just who the boss was. They were falling in love with each other and he made it his mission to tame her and make her his wife. Would they have a happy ever after?

These are stories of the West, a place I love. Ms. Smith gets the details right, and the punishment (or funishment) too. Not all westerns need a mail-order bride or a cowboy with dung on his Roper's.
Hot read
This book has three short, very cute, spanking stories. It was a quick and easy read. There was some sensuality but not enough to make me uncomfortable. Very well written!!!
These were true spanking romance stories. The first was about a lawyer and a rancher. Can a lady lawyer give up
a promising career for love? The second was a bit strange but fascinating tale and the third was also well done.
The spanking was a bonus.
